Mike Bessenyey is a Real Estate Management Professional with experience primarily in Washington State and has worked on projects other areas such as California, Texas, Indiana and Ohio. Prior to joining Bonavista Real Estate Management in 2014 he founded and operated a real estate management company in Seattle. He also spent over seven years with a private real estate group in Seattle where he developed lead operations with oversight of property and asset management. Throughout his real estate career Mike has been involved with the management of over 6,000 apartments and mixed use properties and commercial real estate with values exceeding $350 million.
Mike’s oversight of the Bonavista team of employees and the properties we manage is backed up with his experience throughout the spectrum of positions within the real estate management industry. He has an aptitude for managing real estate and making the right decisions at the right time to grow and protect the assets in our portfolio. Eric Jensen is the Designated Broker at Bonavista Management. Eric has been managing multifamily properties in the Pacific Northwest for eighteen years and brings his experience, commitment to our company and all of the properties we manage. He is responsible for the daily operations of properties in our portfolio. He oversees our maintenance and leasing teams, budgeting, A/P and A/R, and human resources. Eric strives to exceed goals, and maintain the best possible environment at the properties he oversees. His attention to detail exceeds most which provides a platform for thorough management of our portfolio and is an integral part of providing the exceptional results we deliver to our clients.
Nathan Codiroli is a key asset when it comes to our daily and monthly accounting and financial operations. He has over eight years’ experience in the multifamily industry which has given him the experience needed to excel in all aspects of accounting operations. We take comfort knowing that Nathan does not take short cuts or let anything past his watchful eye when it comes to the accounting for our portfolio of properties. Nathan is a Washington State licensed CPA who works with our clients and theirs accountants on a regular basis to ensure all statements; balance sheets and reports are 100% accurate, reconciled and audited. Nathan also oversees all the daily accounting operations and calendar from accounts payable to detailed analysis and assessment.
Monica Phillips worked as a residential real estate agent for RE/MAX prior to joining the Bonavista team in 2011. She is organized and focused on the properties and tasks she is given producing excellent results. We count on Monica when it comes to planning and achieving leasing objectives. Her input has contributed to the successful lease up of three projects in the past two years along with maintaining compliance and achieving goals at our stabilized properties. On top of her ability to procure great residents for our properties and clients Monica has the ability to breeze through difficult customer service and other issues associated with managing real estate. Our clients and residents agree that she is a great property and leasing manager.
Meggie Gurtler joined the Bonavista team in 2015. She brings a robust knowledge of the multifamily industry in the Seattle area and property management experience ranging from on-site management to Regional Portfolio Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of a number of properties in the King County area. With a strong administrative skill set, Meggie’s ability to identify areas of improvement helps drive innovation and simplify processes, which greatly benefits all our properties. Keen attention to detail and focus on customer service makes Meggie a great asset to our team as well as to our residents.
Parker Tenney joined the staff of Bonavista Management as a leasing consultant in October of 2013, and was pleased to be given the title of property manager of her first building just one year later. Parker now manages four Seattle properties and brings to her work a strong sales and customer service background, as well as a higher education focus in psychology and creative writing.
Jessica Atkinson joined Bonavista Management in 2016, and has brought a wealth of knowledge from her diverse background in retail, customer service, hospitality, and project management. Her proficiency in problem solving, creating and maintaining the value of the multiple buildings she manages, improving the net operating income, building relationships with residents, demonstrates her passion and involvement in Real Estate development, and her dedication and excitement for Property Management.
